III African Women's Summit (COWAP 2022) - Rwanda, Kigali

3rd African Women's Summit held at Marriolt Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda from May 12 to 14, 2022 under the theme: "examining the critical role of women as agents of peace and sustainable development"

This initiative was born in 2017 B. Beshack-Hart whose burning desire is to see Africa united and developed which led him and his team to work in the Coalition of Women in Africa for Peace project and Development (COWAP) whose objective is to enable women to share their stories, reflect on ideas and launch initiatives aimed at promoting peace, the fight against hunger and sustainable development in Africa.

The third summit convened a thriving community of over 30 women politicians, wives of presidents in Africa, visionaries and global experts from different fields of human education and saw the special participation of His Excellency Dr. Eunice Ortom Samuel , First Lady of Benue State in Nigeria, Dr. Gloria Labba Bachoda, President of the National Council of Women in Nigeria, Dr. Touma Adama Camara, PCA of the Treasury in Sierra Leone, Ambassadors, Vice Presidents and illustrious personalities.

This summit aimed to create an environment where women have equal opportunities and platforms to participate, engage and influence policies at all levels without intimidation, hindrance, fear and with full support.

Specifically, these were:

- Accelerate collaborations and partnerships of women's groups to influence various social actions and make their voices count
- Improve and share the experiences of women in all sectors for positive change
- Increase women's participation in decision-making, promote peace and justice by building the capacity of women-led initiatives
- Recognize and measure the efforts of African women in innovation in problem solving development issues in Africa.

Long live united African women, long live developed Africa!!!
