More than 25 years of intervention in the field have enabled the organization to understand the most subtle challenges of the action of civil society organizations and to position itself, through its actions, as a major player that cannot be ignored within the Cameroonian civil society, at least to address relevant issues related to the adolescent and young target. Its commitment to improving people's living conditions and changing social behavior has made it a credible local organization with its many technical and financial partners and the government, which has earned it a place in the very select directory of Cameroonian civil society organizations from the Ministry of External Relations (MINREX).
It should be remembered that since Round 10 (2012-2015) through the New Founding Model NFM1 (2016-2017), NFM2 (2018-2020) and NFM3 (2021-2023), Presse Jeune Développement has been a major player in the fight against HIV/AIDS in the community system. However, since Round 3 and Round 6 where he was selected as part of the education component, he has contributed to the writing of the funding proposal. In addition, Presse jeunesse Développement is National Sub-Recipient of the community component in the fight against COVID-19, National Sub-recipient in charge of the adolescent and youth component of the grant from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and second when selecting the Civil Society Principal Recipient.
