Digital awareness activities: ACN Total Energies 2021

From January 09, 2022 to February 06, 2022, Cameroon organized CAN TOTAL ENERGIES CAMEROUN 2021. This meeting which brings together a multitude of African countries and people would give rise to a proliferation of sexual deviance. These sexual deviations could result in an increase in the infection rate of certain diseases; such as HIV/AIDS, STIs, coronavirus disease, etc.

It is in this vein that the NGO Presse Jeune Développement has carried out a vast digital awareness campaign. This deployment on PJD's social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) aimed to raise awareness among adolescents and young people but more hard-to-reach on HIV, STIs and Covid-19.

As a result, visuals and videos were shared and reached more than 15,000 people. Each publication was shared in discussion forums hosting several young people and a WhatsApp number was attached to it to facilitate communication. They were therefore exposed to the right information during this continental meeting.
